Roki Sasaki, Clayton Kershaw, Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, Teoscar Hernández and Tommy Edman, Dodgers

Sasaki was placed on the 15-day IL on May 13 with a right shoulder impingement.

Kershaw (left toe/knee surgeries) will make his season debut on May 17 against the Angels.

Snell (left shoulder inflammation) will be seen by a doctor on May 13 and could begin a throwing program on May 14 if he is cleared.

Glasnow (right shoulder inflammation) has begun a throwing progression.

Hernández (left groin strain) and Edman (right ankle inflammation) both began doing drills on the field on May 13 and will progress to taking live BP on May 14.

Ben Joyce, Angels

Joyce underwent season-ending surgery to repair his right shoulder on May 14.

Tanner Houck and Walker Buehler, Red Sox

Houck was placed on the 15-day IL on May 14, retroactive to May 13, with a right flexor pronator strain.

Buehler (right shoulder inflammation) is expected to return during the Red Sox's series against the Mets from May 19-21.

Yordan Alvarez and Spencer Arrighetti, Astros

Alvarez (right hand muscle strain) has progressed to running, taking swings in the cages and performing outfield drills as of May 14 and is nearing his return.

Arrighetti (broken right thumb) is healing well but still has no timetable set for his return.

Jordan Westburg, Orioles

Westburg (left hamstring strain), who has been sidelined since April 28, has suffered a setback, requiring him to be shut down again.

Bryce Miller, Logan Gilbert and George Kirby, Mariners

Miller was placed on the 15-day IL on May 14, retroactive to May 12, with right elbow inflammation. He has already received a cortisone shot and could be ready to return as soon as he is eligible.

Gilbert (right elbow flexor strain) had his first bullpen session on May 13, throwing about 25 pitches at 90% intensity.

Kirby (right shoulder inflammation) struck out five batters over three innings in his second rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma, throwing 54 pitches. He will make at least one more rehab start.

TJ Friedl and Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Reds

Friedl (right wrist soreness) underwent an MRI that confirmed he has a bone bruise. He could be available off the bench on May 14 if he feels good following his pregame work.

Encarnacion-Strand (lower back inflammation) is working out at the Reds' Arizona complex and could resume some baseball activity shortly. The Reds still have no target date for his return.

Jose Quintana, Blake Perkins and DL Hall, Brewers

Quintana was placed on the 15-day IL on May 14 with a left shoulder impingement.

Perkins (right shin fracture) was cleared to resume baseball activities on April 22 but still has yet to take part in any game action as of May 14.

Hall (left lat strain) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Nashville on May 14.

Lane Thomas, David Fry, Ben Lively and Jaison Chourio, Guardians

Thomas (right wrist bone bruise) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus on May 13.

Fry (right UCL revision) played his first rehab game in the Arizona Complex League on May 13.

Lively was placed on the 15-day IL on May 13 with a right flexor tendon strain.

Chourio (Guardians' No. 3 prospect) was placed on the IL on May 13 due to a mild right shoulder strain.

Oneil Cruz and Endy Rodríguez, Pirates

Cruz left the Pirates' May 10 game against the Braves in the 11th inning with lower back tightness after appearing to tweak something while running the bases. He was out of the lineup through May 14.

Rodríguez (right index finger laceration) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on May 14.

Oswaldo Cabrera, Marcus Stroman and Jonathan Loáisiga, Yankees

Cabrera was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left ankle fracture on May 13. As of May 14, he had visited a specialist and undergone an MRI, and the Yankees are still determining next steps.

Marcus Stroman (left knee inflammation) threw a bullpen without issue on May 12, per manager Aaron Boone.

Loáisiga (right UCL surgery) could be activated after making scheduled back-to-back rehab appearances with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on May 17 and 18.

Wenceel Pérez, Parker Meadows and Jake Rogers, Tigers

Pérez (lumbar spine inflammation) ran the bases on Wednesday and will leave on a rehab assignment with High-A West Michigan on May 15.

Meadows (right upper arm nerve discomfort) ran bases and did some modified throwing on May 14. He could begin a rehab assignment after the Tigers' May 16-21 road trip.

Rogers (left oblique strain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on May 13.

Ty France, Twins

France left the first game of the Twins' May 14 doubleheader against the Orioles with a left foot contusion.

Corey Seager, Rangers

Seager was placed on the 10-day IL on May 13 with a right hamstring strain.

Ian Happ, Cubs

Happ (oblique discomfort) was placed on the 10-day IL on May 13.

Max Scherzer and Andrés Giménez, Blue Jays

Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) threw to hitters while the Blue Jays were in Anaheim on May 6-8 but felt some mid-back tightness, which will delay his next throwing session.

Giménez (right quad strain) resumed baseball activities on May 13.

Ronald Acuña Jr. and Spencer Strider, Braves

Acuña (torn left UCL) is began a rehab assignment with the FCL Braves on May 13. The Braves have yet to determine how many rehab games he will need.

Strider (right hamstring strain) was scheduled for a five-inning or 70-75 pitch simulated game on May 14, after which the Braves will evaluate whether he can return to the rotation sometime next week.

Josh Lowe, Rays

Lowe (grade 2 right oblique strain) could be activated as soon as May 16.

Tyler Fitzgerald and Casey Schmitt, Giants

Both Fitzgerald (left rib fracture) and Schmitt (left oblique strain) began rehab assignments with Triple-A Sacramento on May 13.
